The National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children is supported in her work by a team of 18 professional, including researchers and (communications) advisors. Researchers conduct quantitative and qualitative research. Advisors monitor policy developments, contribute to research reports and maintain contact with organizations involved in combating human trafficking and sexual violence against children. In doing so, they keep track of challenges in the response and identify opportunities for improvement. The advisors translate research findings into actionable recommendations for policy and implementation.
Our professionals bring diverse backgrounds including expertise in law, social sciences, and communications that foster interdisciplinary collaboration. They contribute to shaping the strategy and the development of our annual work program.
